i use the carl flesch scale system for violin and i would highly recommend it my shifts have gotten 100% better since i started it used the scales in all keys and does arpeggios and all that stuff we are supposed to hate.useful info. and since no one else has commented here i figure some one should!
i'm riley by the way and i play the violin and i have for 4 years and i'm concertmaster of the orchestra in town so the orchestra either sucks or the other which is highly unpropable. ok so i posted.

Hi! Sorry I didn't comment earlier. I've been watching the community for posts but missed yours somehow :/.
I'm glad to hear that the Carl Flesch scale system is good, 'cause I'm gonna be using it soon. Recently I've been using Hrimaly scales. I like it. Especially the position progressive scales..
Concertmaster? Wow, I'm last seat in the second violins lol. But I like it that way, as I don't have a stand partner. I play better without one :P.
